GBS Website

Mayo Clinic Global Business Solutions (GBS) delivers a portfolio of market-leading products and services designed to extend Mayo Clinic’s specialized knowledge and expertise to improve the health and well-being of the lives of people around the globe. These products and services aim to educate, engage, and power people to invest in themselves for happier, healthier living. 
I was asked to design a simple, intuitive WordPress website for GBS that appropriately expressed the Mayo Clinic brand, under the creative direction of Daniel Brevick. 
The Design Solution 

Before my involvement, project stakeholders purchased a WordPress site to reduce development costs and deployment time. My primary objective was to reconcile the flexible interface with Mayo Clinic visual guidelines, while presenting GBS content in a way that users find simple and easy to navigate. 
Consultation

Met with stakeholders to establish a relationship, identify roles, understand user needs, and define project objectives.

UX / UI design

Developed hierarchal sitemaps based on appropriate taxonomy of information and layout structure. 
Translated Mayo Clinic brand strengths and visual assets into an attractive, intuitive, guiding, and responsive experience for users. 

Art Direction

Provided visual direction and guidance to the external vendor responsible for implementing my design recommendation.

Lead Design

Produced a professional-looking, visually consistent, appropriately-branded website for GBS.
